Wacky Wednesday
On Wacky Wednesday we had to dress up wacky. On Wacky Wednesday I felt like it was a normal day. I learnt that wearing your clothes backwoods feels normal. One thing I liked doing was dressing up for Wacky Wednesday. The thing that made me keep going today was worrying about myself.
Sick at home
At home I made a big Scratch project that I have not finished yet. I learnt how to code on Scratch. One thing I liked doing was my Scratch project. The thing that made me think hard was the coding in the Scratch project.

Shakeout Day
In Te Maunga we did Shakeout Day. We learnt about earthquakes and how to survive one, When there is an earthquake alert you should go under a table nearby and hold on to the pole. If there is no table you get on the ground and put your hands over your head. I tried really hard at keeping my mind off earthquakes today.

Olympics
In Te Maunga we did Olympics reading slides. We learnt about the Ancient Olympics and the Olympics these days, a poster of three famous Olympians, make your own Olympians costume, research 3 Olympians and write the difference between the Olympics in the Ancient time and the Olympics now. My favourite thing to learn was that only men played at the Ancient Olympics. I tried hard at doing the poster that we had to do on three famous people.

PAL Day
On the last day of term 3 we did some activities in our houses. We played duck, duck, goose, rob the nest, line tag, big ball soccer, noodle soccer, obstacle course, bike riding, throw a ball into a bucket and a dart board. One thing I liked doing was rob the nest. Rob the nest was so confusing for me because it was different to how I play it.

Lockdown
At home I helped mum and dad do house work. I learnt how to cook (caramel slice and cinnamon scrolls). One thing I liked doing was playing on my xbox one and watching tv! Did you like Lockdown?

In Te Maunga we did a Measurement DLO. We learnt about area and perimeter. One of the activities we did was where we had to use squares to find the area of the shape. My favourite part was doing the DLO because it was easy and it was the main part of it. Do you like Measurement?

Research
In Te Maunga we have been doing Research. One thing I learnt was Rattlesnake rattles are made from keratin. Keratin is the type of protein that makes up your hair, skin, and nails. Keratin can also be found in your internal organs and glands. Do you like rattlesnakes?

Measurement
In Te Maunga we have been doing measurements. We learnt how to tell the time and we also learnt how to measure in degrees celsius. My favourite part was measuring degrees celsius in 3 different bowls. The first bowl had hot water, the second bowl had warm water in it and the last bowl had cold water in it. Hauora
In Te Maunga we did Hauora. My favourite part was doing the Scratch animation. One thing I liked learning about was plants because I learned how to plant one. The Hauora slides made me really think about what I need to write about and what I should do.

Character Description
In Te Maunga we did T-Shaped Literacy about character descriptions. We had to use describing words, verbs and metaphors to describe our character. My favourite part was drawing the characters. Next time I will do my character description better because I know how to do it.
Statistics Investigation
n Te Maunga we did a statistics investigation. I learnt the steps to gather data. First you go around the classroom asking what their favorite number is. Then we added all the data together. Then we made a google sheet and we put all our data. We used tally charts and bar graphs to do our work.My favourite part was gathering data from everyone. If we did this project again I would make it better next time by finishing my work quicker.

In Te Maunga we did a research project.We had to research on animals.Me and sam research together on Komodo dragons. Here is one of the facts: KOMODO Dragons can grow 10 feet tall. My favourite part was researching the Komodo dragons. If we did it again we would research snakes!

Sea Creature Activities
In Te Maunga we did Sea Creature Activities. We learnt about sea life. My favourite part was drawing the blue whale on the court. If we did it again I would make the x-ray of a fish.
Food for Thought
In Te Maunga we had Abi come in for Food for Thought. We learnt about what is good for you and not. My favourite part was when I got to hold the saturated fat. If Abi came in again I would write more stuff down on my sheets.
Sea week
On March 24th we had
visitors in Paihia School. We learnt how to measure a fish and shells.My favourite part about the visits was learning about orcas. We learnt about how to save Orcas. If we did it again I would try to be in group one
pepeha
In Te Maunga we have been learning our pepeha. In our art we had to use pastels to color in our art. My favourite part about the art was colouring it in. If we did art again I would try harder.
The day there was a tsunami
On Friday March 5, Paihia School evacuated because of a tsunami. We went up the hill and stayed up the hill for 5 hours. The best part of the evacuation was doing no work! If there was another tsunami I would not freak out as much.
